Easton, more...

Ran into a person in one of the little townships on the Easter shore who sent me to one of the 'manors' in the area. Hope house. Very Jane Austen. Painted the portico. The 'lord' of the manor gave me a tour of the grounds and a jar of his honey. Very English and much appreciated. (an earlier couple gave me and my friends wine and some pate). These Marylanders are very hospitable and are quick to welcome you into their homes. If only for a glass of ice water

Here is a map of the many manors in the area. The spots you see are individual country houses, some of which date back to the 16th century. History.

Heat index today was 103 degrees. Tomorrow? 110. Water. Must have water...
