Today the heat index was estimated to be 103 degrees. Woof! Good training for Curacao, which comes next. Here I am painting under the noonday sun like a mad dog or Englishman. Turned out nice and may be already presold.
Received some nice news tonight while at an Easton Plein Air function. Brenda Boylan (in Portland, Oregon) called to say I am one of the finalists for Plein Air Magazine's first ever Salon show. Ned Mueller, another plein air competitor, was accepted too. Some of you may have already read about it, but in case not, here is the link.
